Process Selection menu

    A. 96Crypt offers the user 3 different process selections:

• 1. EnCrypt or DeCrypt (Depending on file)
  This is the default selection. 96Crypt will analyse your files and process them as needed.
  With this selection, EnCrypted files will be DeCrypted while genuine files will be EnCrypted .
  
  
  
      
  
  
  However, this is the only Process selection choice, where every file is prompted separately before processing it.
  
  
  
      




• 2. EnCrypt Only (No DeCryption)
  This process performs EnCryption. Does not perform any file DeCryption:
  -Genuine files ---> get EnCrypted.
  -Already EnCrypted files --> are skipped.
  All selected files will be processed without a separate prompt.
  



• 3. DeCrypt Only (No EnCryption)
  This process performs DeCryption. Does not perform any file EnCryption:
  -EnCrypted files ---> get DeCrypted.
  -Genuine files --> are skipped.
  All selected files will be processed without a separate prompt.
  
  
  
  

    B. 96Crypt features a Steganography mode.

• 1. Steganography (EnCrypt & Hide A File In A Picture Or Sound)
  Switching to Steganography mode and the use of its features, are detailed in a separate chapter.
  

    C. When the "Always Prompt For A Process Selection Confirmation" option is selected, a prompt window
    requesting a final process selection confirmation will open immediately after entering the user-provided
    secret password.

    

    D. Selecting the "Sort Ascend/Descend By Clicking On Any Column's Header" enables
    fast sorting of any column in both Ascend and Descend mode to simplify visual identification of
    some reading values.



    E. Un-checking the "Process Executables" check box, skips all executable files from being
    processed in order to provide a minimum level of safety to the user's operating system's files.
    Executable files to be skipped are of the following extension type:
    .exe, .dll, .sys, .ocx, .drv, .com, .bat, .scr, .acm, .bpl, .cpl, .tlb, .vxd, .pif, .tsp, .msc, .msi,
    .vbs, .xml.







    Note:
    When opening 96Crypt, it will auto-position on the last Process selection that
    was saved the last time 96Crypt was closed.
    However, the "EnCrypt or DeCrypt (Depending on file)" position is always
    selected by default when 96Crypt is launched by the right-click mouse.
